**Job Purpose**

Develop excellent relationships with CAREGivers so they can enjoy positive experiences.

Work with the recruitment team to ensure sufficient current and future staffing levels are met.

Work with the Care Team to ensure existing care packages can be resourced and scheduled on a timely basis.

Add and maintain all CAREGiver information onto to the electronic scheduling system..

**Alerts System**

This is a critical aspect of the business - every alert must be monitored at the time of generation

**Alert desk is to be manned at all times** - if you are unable to man the scheduling desk responsibility must be physically handed over to co scheduler - care team.
- Support with call reconciliation
- Monitor the live feed screen whilst in the office to ensure all calls are logged in and out. Care giver to be called, if unable to contact escalation procedures to be followed,
- Support in the office on call rota every other weekend to monitor on call (logging in and out at weekends etc)

**Scheduling immediate priorities**

Directly reporting to Shannon, main responsibility is to fight fire on immediate schedules next 7 days to ensure all calls are scheduled to the correct caregivers within 9 days of the call start time.
- Client care calls to be templated on reoccurring schedules block schedules where possible
- Schedules to be worked in advance by at least two weeks
- Ensure CGs confirm schedules by 12.00 on the Monday for 7 days’ time. Any work given back to be re-allocated and recorded.

**Scheduling admin support**

To be direct by/ but to support Scheduling Manager on requirements and needs - will be discussed in weekly meetings
- Work to create CAREGiver runs ie 4-5 hours of clients within same area
- Record introductions to Clients
- Schedule ‘shadowing’ calls for new CGs to shadow yourself when training (12-week journey)
- Ensure each client has 2 main CGs with a 3rd back up for holiday cover etc
- Update all availability of new CAREGivers on to People Planner, manage any changes to availability. Ensure min and max hours requested is added as well as capped hours, pull this report monthly.
- Manage and update all CAREGiver requests of annual leave (4 weeks notice to be given and signed off by CM) record all holiday and ensure sufficient and safe cover for clients
- Monitor CG mileage by ensuring client ‘runs’ are efficient geographically
