**Hours**:Either day shifts: 06.30am - 16.30pm, Mon to Fri, And/or Night Shifts: 20.00pm -06.00am, Sun to Thur.
**Contract**: Permanent
**Salary**:£25,000 - £35,000 per annum
**Location**: Rayleigh, Essex, SS6 7XL, and various site-based work in & around London/Home counties.

World leading three-dimensional infrastructure mapping surveys performed using the most advanced range of robotic, submersible and now amphibious mobilisation systems enable the most accurate surveys without the risks traditionally faced when performing manual surveys.

**The role**:
As a surveyor you will undertake land/Topographical/Measured Building Surveys and set up site control using a variety of specialist equipment and technology, such as Robotic Total Stations, GPS and 3D Scanners/LiDAR.

You will be expected to be flexible in your hours of work and are employed for a five-day working week. You may be required to work more than 48 hours per week. This may involve working away where necessary, with subsistence payment provided.

**Key duties and responsibilities**:

- Analysing data using plans, maps, charts and software such as AutoCAD and GIS Programs
- Quality control of survey data using on site verification methods and post survey analysis, utilising instrument processing software
- Preparation of Survey Drawings and associated reports, ensuring that deliverables are submitted on time and to a high standard
- Advising clients and providing support to junior staff and colleagues on technical matters
- Responsibility for onsite project management
- Responsibility for onsite liaison with client staff and other relevant third parties
- Ensure that accurate, comprehensive and up to date records are kept of all on-site works, such that would be possible at any point to hand over project management in the event of sickness or programming constraints
- Training colleagues on the proper procedures, processes, equipment and systems to ensure ongoing competence
- Frequent Nighttime working
- A commitment to Health and Safety on behalf of oneself and the wider team.

- Demonstrate a positive attitude and problem-solving approach to work and tasks
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team or under own direction where required.
- Full UK Driving License.
