Gardener/grounds Maintenance Worker

Due to ongoing expansion I am looking for a gardener to join our small team.

The applicant must have experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance both residential and commercial, preferably with qualifications although not essential if you know what you are doing, to work on new and existing gardens all around the Derbyshire area. We have a small maintenance round which I want to expand but there is also a landscaping side and you will be required to cover both aspects from time to time so experience in this area will be beneficial.

Ideally I am looking for someone self employed, however I am also looking to fully employ long term if the right person comes along.

This position requires a reliable individual, with their own transport ideally although a vehicle will be provided to get to the sites, who is able to work independently and is comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities/work will include:

- Lawn mowing and strimming.
- Lawn treatments and moss clearing.
- Weeding and raking of leaves.
- Hedge cutting and trimming trees.
- Water plants and flowers.
- Pruning and dead heading of shrubs and flowers at the appropriate time.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Freelance

Pay: From £12.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
