- Ensure availability of raw materials required for the production process
- Maintain the daily stock count sheets for code, description, supplier, minimum quantity
- Place purchase orders for material requirements and send to suppliers
- Expedite urgent delivery requirements
- Create/maintain product details on the MRP system
- Escalate issues that may impact on the production plan with the Supply Chain Manager
- Conduct weekly open order reviews, maintaining housekeeping on the MRP system
- Create and record ad-hoc order requests for non-material items
- Investigate any stock outs, identify root cause and what actions are required to minimize risk or re-occurrence
- Support the business with new product launches
