**Salary**: £27,490 - £29,224 pro rata per annum (actual £22,706 - £24,138)

A much sought-after opportunity to join Bolton College’s highly effective Counselling Team which delivers a comprehensive counselling service to students aged 16-18 and adult students.

With excellent interpersonal skills, you will provide support and assistance on matters both academic and personal, remaining calm and professional in sometimes challenging and stressful situations. In addition to an empathic nature and positive manner, you will be approachable and trustworthy, ensuring confidentiality is maintained for your clients.

Holding a Level 4 Diploma in Counselling or equivalent and registered membership to BACP, UKCP or equivalent body, you will have practical experience and knowledge of the quality and ethical standards involved in counselling procedures. Caring and considerate, you will also need to be a team player with a flexible approach to work.
