We are currently looking for a Front of House Supervisor to join our team in our beautiful cafe/ coffee house in the heart of Oxton Village. Friendly team and a family run business.

Full time position with 4 shifts per week (depending on business requirements, may be required to work more during busy periods/ due to staff sickness/ staff annual leave). Mixture of weekday/ weekend shifts (we aim for 1 weekend off in every 3 if possible). Shifts fall between the hours of 8.30 and close (16.30 - 17.00). May be required to work outside these hours, including the occasional evening, if we have a function or special event on.

**Experience**
- Must have good hospitality experience
- Good barista experience and skills is essential
- Experience of leading a team/ being a line manager or supervisor is preferred
- Experience of being a key holder and opening/ closing is preferred

**The role**

The Front of House Supervisor is to assist the manager in leading the team and upholding our high standards and excellent reputation.

To work under the instruction of the owners and the manager, assisting with a variety of tasks including (but not limited to):

- Key holder responsibilities
- Opening/ closing
- Accurate cashing up at end of shift, running the End of Day Report and closing the till
- Supervising and co-ordinating the front of house team
- Keeping on top of stock levels and ordering where necessary
- Ensuring staff are undertaking duties correctly
- Liaising with kitchen team.
- Ensuring all daily and weekly jobs are completed
- Maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the work environment
- Taking photographs for social media
- Assisting with functions/ events
- Deputising for the manager as required
- Managing bookings
- Dealing with any customer issues/ complaints in a professional and fair manner
- Providing customers with the highest standard of service
- Efficiently and effectively making hot drinks, according to our specifications
- Covering shifts, where required, due to sickness or annual leave
- Delegating tasks to front of house staff to ensure our standards are maintained
