**Beaumont Opticians is** an independent modern practice established in 1901 and we are looking for a dynamic Optical Assistant. You must have at least one to two years dispensing experience and have a flare for fashion.

Ideally we would like you to be able to carry out the following, if not further training will be given.
- Interpret optical prescriptions
- Giving advice to patients on lens types (single vision, multifocals occupational), frames and styling
- Taking frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit
- Ordering lenses from prescription houses
- Checking lenses on delivery to ensure they meet required specifications
- Contact lens ordering (experience not essential)
- Booking appointments
- Any other jobs management wishes you to carry out on a day to day basis which would benefit the practice.

**Salary**: From £9.50 per hour
