Locking of Public Toilets

**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Close public toilets at designated times, following established procedures.
- Ensure all facilities are securely locked at the appropriate hours.
- Monitor user activities to prevent vandalism, misuse, or illegal activities.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure the security of the facilities.
- Collaborate with local authorities to address security concerns.
- Provide basic assistance to users and address inquiries or concerns.
- Foster a positive and respectful environment for all individuals using the facilities.
- Implement emergency protocols in case of accidents, medical emergencies, or security threats.
- Coordinate with emergency services and provide assistance during critical situations.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a security or facility management role is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow procedures and work independently.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance tasks and emergency response procedures.

**Working Conditions**:

- The position may require working during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina for routine locking tasks.
- Ability to respond to emergency situations promptly.

**Job Type**: Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: £18.00-£21.51 per hour

Expected hours: 21 per week
