We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for great food who would like to

learn a real skill.

We offer sociable Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm hours in a friendly team environment.

Job description

The Charcuterie Production Team Member will learn all aspects of our meat curing and

salami making (charcuterie) business.

The company is run by 2 chefs and some experience of the working of a commercial

kitchen and/or butchery skills would be a benefit but not essential. The salary would reflect

this.

Specific training will be given.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Curing - salting and flavouring using set recipes
- Ageing/Hanging - ageing cured products
- Sausage making - piping and tying salamis
- Smoking - cold smoking cured meats
- Slicing and packaging finished products
- Basic Butchery - specifically whole pig breakdown
- General kitchen cleaning

We are looking for someone who has the ability to:

- Work in an organised fashion
- Concentrate on the job in hand, ensuring each is done to the best of your ability
- Ensure that your working environment is always clean and tidy
- Be flexible to demands of a small business
- Follow procedures accurately
- Be friendly and ready to take instruction
- Be ready to learn

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 weeks

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour
