**Financial Accountant, Huntingdon (hybrid), £55,000 - £65,000**
A large and successful business in Huntingdon are recruiting a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join their UK Finance Team and a real opportunity to make your mark on a thriving company. As Financial Accountant,you will report to the Finance Director and responsibilities will include:
- Assist with month-end closing process, preparing journal entries as necessary and reviewing accounts.
- Coordination of monthly Balance Sheet review process to ensure all balance sheet reconciliations are updated in a timely manner.
- Assist in driving business and functional improvements through financial planning and analysis.
- Work with the operational Finance team across several locations to implement best practice and align accounting processes where necessary.
- Budgeting and forecasting: reviewing departmental spend reports with budget holders.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
**Requirements**:
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) or finalist.
- Proven communication and influencing skills with the ability to confidently communicate and engage with a variety of stakeholders.
- Excellent technical accounting experience.
- Strong analytical skills, able to dela with large and complex calculations.
- Good knowledge and understanding of finance systems and ERP.
