**Job Advert Description***

We are currently looking for a Temporary Roster Planner to support the Resource Management unit for South Wales Police.

This an exciting opportunity to be part of the Resource Management Unit, based within the Force Planning portfolio, Operational Support Services arena. The post holder will be required to provide support to Basic Command Units (BCU) and Departments across South Wales Police.

The role will involve liaising and working with all ranks, updating rotas and providing reports to Command Teams. Main responsibilities will involve ensuring accuracy of the rotas for Police officers and staff across the force. The role also involves working closely the Police Federation and Police Staff unions. Excellent IT skills are necessary including the use of excel.
- There is one full time fixed contract vacancy until November 2024. This role will be based in Cardiff.
- There is one part time fixed contract vacancy until April 2024. This role will be based in Cardiff.
- There is a requirement for all Roster Planners to work one weekend per month and will be paid a 5% weekend enhancement.
