**Reed Talent Solutions** are currently working with a nationwide NHS Organisation to recruit a Business Analyst on an initial 6-month contract, the post holder will work as part of a dynamic analytical community supporting managers and staffacross all of NHS England functions

**Role Information**
- Location: can be based anywhere in the UK, with remote working an option (although some travel may be necessary depending on the needs of the assignment)
- Salary: £48,526 - £57,500 (pro-rata)

**Key Responsibilities**
- Supporting NHS planning by collecting and assuring plans to ensure that Clinical Commissioning Groups can commission the care their patients need within the resources they have available.
- Monitoring and assurance of delivery against plan to understand the true performance of the NHS and identify areas of good or poor performance.
- Developing new indicators to monitor performance. This can involve juggle competing priorities and tight deadlines.Effectively manage risks and interdependencies in order to deliver their own work programme and anticipate and communicate the impact onother’s work areas
- Ensure accurate and open communication and co-ordination with a range of organisations and individuals, researching and drafting correspondence and papers and ensuring the management of specific tasks, lead reporting and analysis across a range of specialities,functions and projects
- Be a key member of the team as well as supporting effective communication and stakeholder management, both internally and externally
- Have excellent communication skills and be able to influence people with different perspectives to get the most out of stakeholder relationships
- Help test systems and create system documentation and user manuals.
- Prioritising business intelligence development activities, involving negotiations around requirement specifications, effort estimations, product release planning, both with customers and other project team members.
- Take ownership for completion of development activities as determined during Project Planning Phase and highlight any risks / impediments for timely delivery to Project/Programme Managers.

**Essential Criteria**
- Further training or significant experience in project management, financial management or supporting change management processes.
- Prince 2 Qualification or Agile Qualification
