Family Support Worker

Warwickshire County Council are looking to recruit **Family Support Workers** as part of the **Wrap Around Service** for carers and young people in Warwickshire. The service aims to help children to build a secure base within the foster care or residential setting, this family support role is critical to making that happen.

**The Role**
We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic and motivated child focused workers to help us improve the outcomes for our young people, ensuring their voice is heard and to support everyone involved to keep children in a stable home.
Within this role you will hold a caseload of children in care and provide packages of intervention to families. We want our practitioners to spend their time building relationships with families to achieve change. You will be supported by excellent business support who minute all child in need, child protection and children in care multi agency meetings for social workers. We are also investing in technology such as automation to support practitioners to automatically upload documents to children’s electronic records.

The Fluency Duty is outlined in the Code of Practice on the English language requirements for public sector workers. The Fluency Duty for this role is Required. You must be able to speak and provide advice in accurate spoken English to the public.
