The Target Healthcare Group is a niche pharmaceutical developer, manufacturers and supplier to the retail pharmacy, hospital, pharmaceutical wholesaler, and homecare markets.

Target Healthcare is the UK’s leading manufacturer and supplier of unlicensed medicines and hard-to source products.

**The Role**

The Finance Business Partner will lead a busy finance function which interfaces with all departments business units. This is a varied role which will support Group finance activities.

**Key Responsibilities**

Responsibility for reviewing the management accounts of four entities as prepared by the Assistant Accountant.
- Working with department heads to understand sales and commercial trends, and overheads analysis. Production of monthly performance trading packs analysing variances to budget.
- Supporting the commercial and operations teams with the production of weekly and monthly sales analysis.
- Carry out any ad hoc reporting required to investigate variances and queries after month end reporting.
- Play a pivotal role in budgeting and forecasting activities, this will include cashflow and balance sheet projections.
- Produce a monthly EBITDA forecast with commentary.
- Monitoring and forecasting cashflow requirements for your entities.
- Proactively develop reports and processes ensuring they reflect operational requirements.
- Working collaboratively with various departments, supporting the business with ad-hoc costing and financial support where required.
- Support on interim and year end audit preparation to ensure a clean audit for the businesses.
- Preparation of quarterly VAT submissions.
- Lead and facilitate the development of the Assistant Accountant and Group Finance team.
- Ad hoc work as required.
- To follow, promote and enforce relevant SOPs, Job Aids, and Company policies and procedures.
- To proactively support the businesses operation by helping in other departments which may be busier than your own at a particular time.

- Ability to work autonomously with drive to complete tasks to highest quality and accuracy.

- Strong communication skills.
- Able to demonstrate taking responsibility and accountability for tasks end-to-end.
- Trustworthiness and discretion when dealing with confidential information.
- Desire to professionally develop within a fast paced, growing business.

**Skill Requirements**
- Part Qualified / Newly Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 2 years in industry or QBE with a minimum of 5 years in industry.
- Has a positive attitude.
- Experience in reporting to tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills.
