Data Administrator

An exciting opportunity to join a fast growing wholesale and ecommerce education resources reseller for a dynamic, numerate, and tech savvy data administration professional with a least five years experience in similar roles. You must have a good educational background and be numerate. In addition to the education and experience requirements, to be successful in this role you must have a high degree of attention to detail, and proven experience to demonstrate your ease manipulating large volumes of data.
**Responsibilities**:
- Administer the web site data set and its integration with the inventory management system
- Administer the master data set in the inventory management system
- Administer the data set in our B2B platform and its integration with the inventory management system
- Administer our product catalogues in our customer portals and ensure that our Master data set is up to date
- Maintain clean and complete data sets at all times
- Prepare new catalogue data and upload once approved
- Any other tasks requested by line management
Education profile (Ideal):
- 8 Good GCSEs
- 1 or more A-Levels
Skills (Minimum Requirements) - Essential:
- Excel Intermediate to Advanced including VLookup, XLookup, Nested IF, AND, OR, Consolidation
- Strong organisation skills
- Ability to follow processes
- Excellent data entry skills
- Speed and efficiency in processing data
Experience - Essential:
- Minimum 5 years in data administration roles
- Data maintenance across multiple systems
- Data consolidation
- Use of Excel to manipulate data

- Ability to deal with pressure - able to appropriately prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines without any loss in accuracy;
- Attention to Detail - error free accounting administration, statutory submissions and reporting to agreed deadlines;

- Collaboration & Team Work - good listening skills and works effectively with colleagues to achieve company goals;
- Flexibility - to take on additional tasks as and when required;
- Learning agility - assimilate new information quickly, understand the business, and accurately keep up to date with changing legislation;
- Tech savy - at least Intermediate capability with Excel, Data Analysis tools, and good skills with other Office apps, and intuition / aptitude to learn new IT systems quickly (CIN7 Core, Customers Vendor portals);
