We are looking for experienced residential Healthcare assistants to work for our client just outside of Retford, within their homely care home supporting their regular care staff in providing a high standard of care to their residents. This is a specialist Dementia-Related Illnesses care home. The dedicated team of Carers specializes in providing a full care package to encompass activities that promote wellbeing of their residents in a supportive and secure environment.

As an experienced Healthcare Assistant, you must have experience dealing with residents with Dementia, Old Age and Physical Disabilities and a desire to want to assist them in their activities of daily living to stimulate and improve their quality of life. You will be paying attention to their individual care plans and providing a level of care tailored to their needs. You will also need to record and report any problems as they arise.

All our Healthcare Assistants must have sound qualifications in Health and Social Care and all mandatory training must be up to date, especially Moving and Handling with Hoist Training.

This service is staffed 24 hours per day, but they are looking for carers to work weekend shifts both nights and days. Start times are around 07:00, 14:00, and 22:00.

Other shifts are available on request.

**As a Healthcare Assistant, you will require**:

- NVQ LVL 2 as a minimum or 3 months paid experience in a care background.
- Up to date Mandatory training documents in Safeguarding, Infection control, Moving & Handling and Hoist Training as a bare minimum.
- Up to date DBS/ CRB check for adult services, preferably on the update service but not essential.

Pay rates:
**£10.50 per hour for weekdays**

**£11 per hour for weeknights**

**£11 per hour for weekend days**

**£11.50 per hour for weekend nights**
