**An Experienced Pharmacy Dispenser**

**Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm**

**Rate : £10.42 hour**

**ROLE PURPOSE**

Assess Prescriptions for the end patient. You will be required to work as a dispensary assisting the pharmacy in providing an efficient service in line with company procedures.

**KEY PRIORITIES AND JOB SUMMARY**

The main responsibilities as a Dispensing Assistant will be to assist the Pharmacy team in managing the day to day assembly and checking in the Pharmacy store A key part of your role will be to check prescription orders that have passed their assembly and clinical checks and thereby allowing the Pharmacist to focus on pharmacy operations and customer satisfaction.

**General**
- Perform general pharmacy duties in line with assembly systems under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Accurately assemble and check items, under the supervision of the Pharmacist.
- Select and perform accuracy checks to ensure that the process has been accurately performed
- Comply with all relevant company SOP’s, information governance, policies and procedures.
- From time to time carry out activities to support the automation process.
- Assist in the development of other staff members where appropriate.

**House Keeping**
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the store.
- Complete all records required when supplying medicines.
- Complete date checking and cleaning in accordance with the company SOP’s and ensure that adequate records are maintained.
- Have due regard for health and safety for both yourself, colleagues and customers.

**Stock control**
- Effectively manage pharmaceutical stock and equipment
- Receive, store, maintain and issue stock in accordance with Compliances
- Understanding of pharmaceutical and retail

**Skills**:

- Ability to prioritise workload
- Able to demonstrate self-motivation and initiative
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to delegate tasks appropriately

**Salary**: Up to £10.42 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Pharmacy Dispensing: 1 year (required)

Ability to Commute:

- West Bromwich (required)
