An opportunity has arisen within London North West Healthcare NHS Trust for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join the Estates department as a Band 3 Grounds person/Maintenance Assistant.

You'll be responsible for the general upkeep of the Trust grounds; to include litter picking, tree inspections, adhoc gritting and inspection of roads/pathways. to ensure the grounds are kept in a clean and tidy manner. You will also undertake planned and unplanned maintenance as instructed by the Estates management team. The aim of the department is to develop a fully flexible workforce and as such you will be expected to undertake tasks of other trades where reasonable and safe for you to do so.

To be considered for shortlisting you must be an experienced groundsperson with experience of working within a similar environment. Additionally a full driving licence is desirable.

Successful applicant will require good communication and customer care skills to work with various levels of staff across the organisation and be expected to carry out all duties in an efficient and effective manner with minimum supervision.
