This role is to work for the same family in 2 locations, which will involve the following:

- 1. Knutsford - caring and assisting a young, happy, kind and caring young lady, whom has been receiving cancer care for the past 2 years and currently still on going.

2. Formby - caring and assisting the parents of the above lady with day to day running of the household and their needs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Driving and assisting at doctor and hospital appointments
- Assisting the patient with bathing, grooming and getting dressed as and when necessary
- Handling household tasks like shopping and laundry
- General household duties
- Preparing and serving meals at the appropriate time as and when necessary
- Ensuring medication is taken at the appropriate times
- Providing emotional support, care and friendship
- Making recommendations to family members and healthcare personnel on the plan of care
- Organising and attending suitable recreational activities
- Collaborating with other health care and social care professionals to provide the best possible care as and when necessary

- Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with all the family

Must Have:

- 5 Years experience within the care industry
- DSB checks to be carried out (or provided if in place)
- Kind, caring, attentive and happy nature
- Be a breath of fresh air, bringing smiles to the family
- Full clean driving licence and own transportation

**Salary**:

- To be agreed, dependent on experience
- Travel expenses paid

**Salary**: £8.32-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
