Warehouse Supervisor (Nights)

Pace Recruitment Services are excited to be working with a fantastic company who have been established for more than 30 years and have built a great reputation The company we are working with are based on the outskirts of Totton, and are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to become part of their great team

As a Warehouse Supervisor you will be:

- Responsible for driving the night activities with the team to achieve deadlines
- Ensure accurate delivery of goods to customers
- Enable and support with all warehouse processes from picking and packing to loading deliveries
- Ensure all picking and loading operations scheduled during the shift are completed accurately and dispatched at the correct temperature with all picks done via a voice picking system
- Ensure routes are picked, loaded and dispatched in the correct orders and making sure vehicles depart on time
- Ensure all pick sheets are signed by the picker with start and finish times included
- Ensure all drivers have fuel cards, keys, SatNav, PDA and alike, as required and are in all good working order prior to dispatch
- Maintain site security during the night shift
- Direct management of the night shift team for around 30 members of staff (includes pickers, loaders and an administrator)
- Report any damages to the premises, racking, MHE, vehicles during the shift to the Warehouse Manager
- Maintain records of H&S infringements, incidents and accidents
- Investigate any inventory shortages
- Keep a record of all items removed from the invoices overnight and share with the Telesales team the following morning
- Report any incorrectly located, missing, out of date or damaged stock to the Warehouse Manager and the Inventory Controller
- Assist the Warehouse Manager to recruit, train and develop staff
- Conduct and keep a record of return to works and other performance management conversations with team members
- Provide cover for operational colleagues during any absences

Previous warehouse supervisor experience would be required.

The working hours are Tuesday to Saturdays from 8.30pm until 6am, 45 hours per week.

The salary for this Warehouse Supervisor role is £30,840 per year. Some of the company benefits will include:
