We are looking for a Part Time Payroll Clerk to work in a thriving business based in East Grinstead. This role will be based on 3 days a week, but flexible working around days around Payroll Dates
Responsibilities;
Ensure all new starters have submitted the necessary documents prior to being added to payroll
Loading new employees onto the Brightpay payroll system and pension portal
Dealing with employee queries regarding tax codes
Running reports from rostering system to calculate the hours worked by employee, following up any erroneous entries
Inputting payroll data into Brightpay
Processing any leavers details on Brightpay and pension porta
Processing Pension Contributions
Liaising with Management Team on pay totals before running final payroll
Handling any payroll queries in a timely way
Processing holiday pay for both full time employees and zero hours employees
Processing staff attachment of earnings and any other staff deductions or payments.
Completing any auto enrolment responsibilities, including loading employee and employer pension contribution to pension provider
Collating, checking, gaining approval and upload staff expenses for payment
Loading paye details to bank
Creating batch file for payroll payments
Adhoc admin duties when required
To be considered for this role you must be able to process a monthly payroll from start to finish including statutory requirements, strong Excel ( use of formulas, pivots & lookups), a strong attention to detail and ideally additional accounting skills. CVs without Payroll will be rejected
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: £24,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- East Grinstead, RH19 1XP: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Payroll: 2 years (preferred)
