**Salary**:£28,000 - £30,000 per annum
**Hours**:37.5 hours per week
**Contract**: Permanent, Term Time Only

Crookhey Hall School is a Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) School which caters for boys and girls aged 10 - 17 years of age. We provide young people with an educational experience that will not only extend their academic and vocational social skills and abilities but will also promote personal growth and help to build self-esteem. In this way it is hoped that each individual will aspire to achieve their full potential, eventually leaving school with the determination to make a positive contribution to society in the years to come.

The aim of the site is to provide enough support to unlock each child’s potential so they can live fulfilling and productive lives. We provide young people with as much freedom as possible in a safe and supervised environment. This is achievable due to the dedication and support from a range of employed professionals who are passionate, reliable, and understanding

**About the role**

**Quality of Education**
- To raise standards of pupil attainment and achievement within the faculty.
- Monitor and support pupil progress in conjunction with SLT lead for curriculum, utilising faculty data.
- To be accountable for pupil progress and outcomes within the faculty.

**Faculty Specific**
- To maintain record keeping and maintenance of all faculty assets including challenge course and all equipment to ensure all equipment kept in a safe condition.
- Development of annual programme of activity provision including liaising with and booking external adventurous activity/equipment providers to enable full curriculum delivery

**Essential qualifications and experience**
- Minimum of grade 4 (or equivalent) in GCSE English and Maths
- A range of Outdoor Education qualifications
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Knowledge of recent developments in learning and teaching
- A reflective practitioner who consistently seeks to improve their teaching to support learning and accelerate pupil progress
- A good understanding of effective ways to facilitate learning
- A strong understanding of the legal framework underpinning adventurous activities
- Good working knowledge of relevant qualification opportunities
- Experience working in an SEMH setting
