**About Us**

We are looking for a creative and forward-thinking individual to join our small and friendly team to work in our Artistic Gift Shop and to help assist with social media posts for our marketing. This is a rare opportunity to work within a unique and creative business.

The business offers to our customers an artistic gift shop, art cafe, gallery, and also hosts a number of art and craft workshops throughout the week. Here at The ArDe Creatree we have a strong artistic ethos, where we love to be surrounded by creativity and those who are like minded, and where we also help develop skills for all abilities and needs.

We are seeking team members who are passionate about art and delivering a high standard of customer care.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To welcome, smile and approach customers displaying a friendly attitude and a willingness to serve.
- To possess good product knowledge in order to be able to advise the customer in the best possible and precise manner.
- To be able to serve multiple customers simultaneously and offer excellent service to all.
- To prioritise customer service above all other tasks.
- To be familiar with, and offer services according to the needs of customers in order to maximise sales.
- To provide support by maintaining an optimal store image that is attractive to customers at all times.
- Have a strong team spirit whilst also able to work independantly.
- Excellent verbal and oral communication skills.
- Working knowledge of relevant POS software and retail equipment
- Input creations on to relevant retail software with precision.
- Dealing with all special orders, complaints and enquiries as appropriate.
- Processing sales transactions quickly and efficiently.
- Replenishing stock, ensuring it is correctly accounted for, priced and dated.
- Assisting with store deliveries.
- The ability to carry out stock management, inventories and stock checks.
- Assisting the Art curator
- Assisting with socail media posts and marketing.

**Your Profile**

We are looking for a self-motivated team player with a flexable approach to working hours, who is a trustworthy, reliable and vibrant person. You can demonstrate excellent communication skills, have a proactive attitude and enthusiasm to represent the company through the delivery of excellent customer service. Ideally you would have a strong sales attitutde and intuition for customer needs. It is also important that you are able to handle social media posts and have the ability to assist with marketing the business.

Previous experience working in retail is desirable.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £7.00-£9.50 per hour
