Role: Commercial Analyst

**Salary**: £28-35k DOE

Location: Barnsley

We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Analyst to join a team. You will oversee the team; providing key management information reports produced according to regular cycles to monitor and understand the business performance. You will analyse data fromevery aspect of the business helping feed reports into sales, operations, finance, supply chain
- using data that can be extracted from the management information systems.

About you:

- Preferably 2 years experience in a similar role
- Advanced skills in Excel
- including complex formulas (V-Lookup, Index and Match)
- Excellent problem-solving skills, be a logical thinker and have an analytical mind
- Able to operate under own judgement and autonomy, making recommendations and managing expectations where appropriate
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise
- Confidently communicate
- Work well under pressure
- The ability to work autonomously and use initiative

The role:

- Timely and accurate commercial reporting to the business, transforming data into meaningful information to support business decisions
- Producing and managing daily, weekly, and monthly reports according to priorities and schedules agreed with the business
- Demonstrate detailed knowledge of reports and data sources and ability to design, generate and amend according to the needs of the business
- Provide support services to internal and external customers covering ad-hoc reporting, data analysis, data validation and technical guidance
- Demonstrate initiative and use learnings from data and analytics to highlight opportunities for improvements and optimise efficiency across all areas of the business
