**About us**

Midas VFX is a Boutique visual effects house that is located in London's trendy Covent Garden. Our team of highly-talented artists create stunning visual effects for films and TV. We pride ourselves on our creativity and high standards allowing us to work on the biggest shows in town.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with senior artists to complete visual effects shots to the highest quality standards
- Take direction and feedback from the VFX Supervisor and Senior Compositors to deliver the final look of shots
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless integration of visual effects into live-action plates
- Proactively problem-solve and suggest creative solutions to complex compositing challenges
- Ensure that work is delivered to agreed deadlines and project milestones

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in Nuke compositing, preferably in the VFX industry
- Strong knowledge of the compositing process, colour theory, and digital image manipulation techniques
- Understanding of visual effects pipelines and workflow
- Excellent attention to detail and a critical eye for composition and colour
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently under tight deadlines
- Knowledge of other visual effects software is a plus
