With demand on our services at an all-time high, the role our department provides has never been more critical. You will would within a small team, involving clinical and non clinical staff within the Inflammatory Bowel Service.

**As a IBD Secretary your main duties will cover**:

- Medical audio transcription of clinical correspondence
- Carry out administrative instructions dictated in the correspondence including booking appointments via the Booking and Scheduling Department
- Update NPSA16 investigation tracker following transcription of correspondence
- Deal with internal and external telephone enquiries from patients, staff and external agencies
- Undertake routine office duties including printing, scanning and filing
- Organising your workload to meet our KPI’s

- Be confident using a computer and Microsoft Office
- Have an excellent telephone manner
- Be able to communicate effectively and manage patient expectation
