We’re looking for a leader who has experience of Strategic Buying in an engineering function. We are looking for someone who can develop existing suppliers, but also source new and improved ones with a focus on quality and cost. Provide support with negotiationsand develop procedures. **About the Job**:

- Working together in an established purchasing and supply chain team.
- You will Identify and implement a de-risking strategy in key areas of the supply chain.
- You will develop and drive new opportunities to provide cost and quality advantages to the business.
- You’ll be responsible for the development of the supply chain.
- You will manage driving cost down activities with the supplier base.
- You’ll provide a structured, analytical, and solution-orientated approach to decision making and reporting.
- Act as an interface with Group Purchasing with respect to inter-company optimisation of the supply chain.

**About You**:

- You will be a purchasing professional at strategic level.
- Experience within engineering is a must.
- You’ll have experience of working with international supply chains.
- Given the nature of this role, you’ll have impeccable negotiation skills.
- You’ll be a good communicator, have an eye for detail and be an exceptional problem solver.
