**Key Accountabilities**
- Ensure all operational colleagues have the equipment, training and attire to enable them to carry out their duties effectively, observing the SSOW, including visitors, contractors and suppliers.

Organising and controlling the depots resources to ensure maximum efficiency of the depot through effective management of people, assets, costs and productivity
- Ensure that all operational standards and procedures within the depot are carried out effectively, specifically in relation to Health and Safety and Compliance
- To ensure the night operation runs smoothly and efficiently, delaing with and resolving any issues as they arise
- To ensure that all operational reports and documents are completed accurately and on time
- Assumes ownership of meeting or exceeding personal daily targets, KPIs and objectives
- To ensure all transport and people compliance is adhered to across the shift
- To ensure the night team are managing their workload and challenges

**Technical capabilities**
- Practical knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety regulations
- Computer literate and comfortable in the use of technology and IT systems, including knowledge of MS Office
- Identifies and provides recommendations for appraoches and initiatives to enhance performance
- People management and leadership experience
- Highly organised with a well-developed approach to prioritisation
- People and customer focused and passionate about people and service development

**Leadership skills**
- Able to lead by example and also adopt a practical hands-on approach when required
- Lateral thinking when dealing with issues and challenges
- Good communication skills
- Decisive and able to work unsupervised
- Able to work at pace whilst maintaining accurate, high quality output
