Job description

**Faculty of Environment, Science and Economy (University of Exeter Business School)**
- This part time (10 hours per week) post is available immediately on a 6 month fixed term basis.

**The post**
- The Faculty wishes to recruit a Graduate Research Assistant to support the work of Dr Hannah Collis. This British Academy/Leverhulme funded post is available for 6 months from the earliest possible start date. You will support a multi-institution team on a research project exploring the experiences of female early career academics working in Business or Management Schools across the UK.
- The post will include supporting recruitment efforts, data cleaning and preparation for analysis, database management, early-stage coding, and qualitative analysis. You may also be involved in literature searching and contribute to the development of research publications and/or presentations.
- This role can be conducted either based in Exeter or remote, however some travel to Exeter may be required. You must be based in the UK.

**About you**
- Applicants will be educated to first degree level or possess an equivalent qualification/experience in a related field of study or equivalent experience and be able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge in the discipline and of research methods and techniques to work within established research programmes.
- The successful applicant will be able to manage large qualitative data sets and be confident cleaning, anonymising, and preparing data ready for analysis. Experience conducting any form of qualitative data analysis, for example as part of a research project or dissertation project, is desirable but not essential. The successful applicant will be a confident independent worker who has high attention to detail.
