**Job Title**:Sessional Care Worker

This post will be on an as and when required basis to cover periods of staff absences, training etc. The bathing service is provided between the hours of approx 8.00am to 1pm Monday to Friday.

**It is essential that you have your own car and a clean current driving license.**

**Main Duties**:
**1. **To assist users to dress/undress

**2. **To prepare shower/bath area

**3. **To use designated equipment as necessary

**4. **To transfer users safely to and from the bath/shower

**5. **To assist users while in shower/bath

**6. **To assist/ encourage with mobility

**7. **To record information in client files and Home Care Diary on a daily basis

**8. **Ensure all work is carried out and recorded meeting the National Health & Social Care Standards and SSSC Code of Practice

**9. **To ensure Company Policies and Procedures are being adhered to across all aspects of practice

**10. **To attend staff meetings/training as required

**11. **Use computer and handheld electronic systems for input and recording of client’s information

**12. **To report to the Care Co-Ordinator on a regular basis regarding any change in clients’ circumstances

**13. **To undertake any other designated tasks as directed by the Care Co-Ordinator appropriate to the grade

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Home care: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)

Work Location: In person
