**Job summary**:
DWP is looking to fill a role in the Government Reform Team which sits in the People Capability and Place Directorate. This roles is for a Planning, Risk and Reporting Co-Ordinator.

This is a highly visible role working across Government and will provide an exciting opportunity to manage the activity of DWP’s Government Reform Team, a team with a broad remit to plan for, coordinate and assure DWP Reform activity.

The role will be based in one of the People Capability and Place hubs of Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, London, or Newcastle.

**Job description**:

- Develop and manage the plan for DWP on reform activity, including generating and tracking milestones working with the Government Reform Team Project Manager.
- Develop and own the risk log for Government Reform, including updates following stakeholder engagement.
- Support updates and development of the Government Reform dashboard for DWP Executive Team.
- Plan and schedule programme meetings ensuring appropriate methods are used and align to team priorities.
- Support secretariat duties as required delivering meaningful outputs, auditable logs and records for Government Reform governance boards.

**Person specification**:
**Key Criteria**
- Evidence of Project Management Office experience with use of MS Project to create and maintain programme plans, risks and dependencies and stakeholder mapping, ensuring and enabling robust governance. **(Lead)**:

- Proven ability to build strong relationships to support successful management and delivery of programme checkpoints across various work streams and functional areas.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and proven ability to support conversations across a diverse stakeholder group, coordinating outputs to inform broader governance.
- Proven ability to support the creation of key reporting products and briefing for senior leaders articulating progress and assurance for the department.
- Demonstrate ability to deliver to challenging timescales and working through ambiguity.

**Qualifications**:

- Any project management qualification.
