Machine Operator/forklift Driver

We are a family run company with over 30 years in the industry.

**Duties**:

- Working under the leadership of our works manager.
- Run bespoke machinery training given
- Packing of parcels and pallets
- Stock check and control
- Use pallet and reach trucks
- Load and unload trucks using forklift or other material handling equipment
- Perform quality control checks on materials and finished products
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

**Requirements**:

- Valid forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting preferred
- Knowledge of basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in fabrication and assembly processes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control standards
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Ability to listen and follow clear instructions
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

**Salary**: £16,365.30-£25,000.00 per year
