We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Milton team in the position of Dispatch Clerk.

The purpose of this role is to meet works administration requirements on site, and the role holder will work closely with the administration team, production manager, works manager, shift managers, safety coordinator and engineer to ensure the site's targets and objectives are achieved.

Your duties would include but not limited to the following;
- Delivery tickets to be issued.
- Sales report to be produced each day/week.
- Clay collections to be recorded.
- To raise purchase orders, enter and receipt onto system.
- File all current/completed purchase orders and invoices.
- To answer all incoming calls politely and transfer to appropriate person.
- Greet and deal with visitors politely.
- Arrange brick samples to be delivered.
- To assist with maintenance and production administration.
- Liaise with drivers, Sales and Transport.
- Dealing with collections, deliveries, returns and discrepancies.
- Ensure all visitors and contractors sign in and out.
- Daily completion of the Dispatch Log.
- Posting copy tickets to Sales on a weekly basis.
- Administration support for Office Manager, Production and Maintenance.
- Maintaining a robust system for checking and storage of dispatch tickets and purchase orders.
- Maintaining training records ensuring confidentiality at all times.
- Liaising with suppliers in relation to orders, delivery dates and invoice queries.
- Purchase order input onto purchasing system.
- Stock Control of PPE and staff welfare items.
- Microsoft Windows files and folders management.

- Have an accurate and methodical approach to work.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A good basic understanding of health & Safety is essential.
- Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
- Confident & outgoing personality.

Education/Qualification
- Minimum 5 GCSEs including Maths & English
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Good Numeracy and literacy Skills
