Here at Marsden we have over 30 years’ experience in the field of high quality, high volume precision sheet metal, we offer a complete manufacturing solution from prototype to delivery. We house over 30 experienced staff members including apprentices.

**Position**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Perform TIG welding on various types of metal, including stainless steel and aluminium
- Read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications to determine the appropriate welding techniques and parameters
- Set up and operate welding equipment, including TIG welders, grinders, and other power tools
- Fabricate and assemble metal components using TIG welding techniques
- Inspect welded joints for quality and make necessary repairs or adjustments as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a TIG Welder or similar role
- Proficient in TIG welding techniques, including the ability to weld thin gauge sheet metal
- Strong knowledge of welding symbols and blueprint reading
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
- Familiarity with a variety of hand tools used in metal fabrication
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and make adjustments to welding equipment

Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
