**_Key responsibilities _**(Please see JD for full requirements)**_:_**
- Teaching individual lessons to all year groups (ages 13-18)
- Prepare pupils for examinations and performance if necessary
- Monitor and give feedback on progress to the parents, through reporting (twice a year) and paperwork
- Stretch students with imaginative and varied repertoire suitable to the student (including popular styles).
- Assist the department by taking a percussion activity - we are particularly looking for someone to take a section of the Corps of Drums (this operates on a Wednesday afternoon)

What we are looking for:
Musicianship, drill, appearance, display, leadership and teamwork.

**Essential**
- Degree at University or Conservatoire level****:

- Knowledge of Repertoire (varied and interesting)
- Proven Teaching Experience to advanced level
- Performing experience

**Desirable**
- Teaching Qualification
- Performing experience
- Links to the profession
