School Caretaker

**We are looking for someone who will**:

- Be responsible for the security of the school premises and grounds including opening and closing of the school daily.
- Report breaches of security to the necessary authorities.
- Be competent in carrying out day-to-day reactive repairs, compliance testing and maintenance work.
- Liaise with all contractors visiting or working on the school grounds or premises.
- Be responsible for maintaining safe and clean school premises and grounds.
- Undertake cleaning tasks.
- When required, to be flexible for the needs of the school and site.
- Be adaptable and flexible for unexpected events should they arise.
- Possible call outs as a main keyholder of the site.
- Have a positive mindset and a good sense of humour.
- Be a positive role model for the children of St Peter's.
- Be a good communicator and work well with team-members.

This is a temporary contract to cover staff absence, Monday - Friday, 7am - 11am paid at Kent Range 4 £21,389 (£11,561.64 pro rata).

Some cleaning duties will be required.
