Head of Finance

**About The Role**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare monthly management accounts, KPI and WIP reports.
- Support the board in budgeting and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory and tax requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors and coordinate the annual year end and audit process.
- Monitor and manage the organisation’s cash flow.
- Manage accounts receivable and payable to ensure timely payments from our clients and to our suppliers.
- Support project teams in preparing P&Ls and forecasts per project.
- Drive margin efficiencies and provide financial insights to support strategic business decision-making.
- Supervise and mentor the finance team.
- Oversee payroll, IT and administration.

**Qualifications**
- Qualified Accountant with significant experience.
- Understanding of % Completion and Work in Progress.
- Experience of Construction is not essential but preferred.
- Experience managing direct reports.
- Proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Must be able to work 5 days a week from our office in Ramsgate.
