Consultant Cellular Pathologist

**Working hours: 5-10 sessions per week**

This is an exciting time to join our team. The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS FT and Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS FT are forming a single pathology service south of the River Mersey to serve the joint population needs of both Trusts and primary care. Ourjoint service will be one of three hubs within the Cheshire and Merseyside pathology region.

The department is associated with the Merseyside training scheme. Teaching and research are encouraged and a major emphasis is placed on quality through regular audit and case review meetings.

Chester is a famous tourist destination, but also with great housing and schools, both government and independent. It offers excellent facilities, easy access to the motorway network and regional airports and is not far from the Lake District and Snowdonia.
