**Role Snapshot **

As HR Apprentice you will be a key part of our administration team. Providing high quality, proactive and confidential administrative support to the HR service, whilst studying for your Level 3 HR Support apprenticeship. If you are looking to start a career in HR, this could be the role for you.

**What you could be part of**

We are a busy HR team, assisting over 900 employees. Within the administration team you will be handling day to day queries and working on a range of HR processes, ranging from recruitment through to retirement; using HR systems to keep records; providing relevant HR information to the business and working with the business on HR changes.

**What you’ll be doing **
- Support recruitment campaigns eg placing advertisements, assisting with assessments and completing new starter paperwork
- Manage incoming communications for the team, prioritizing, distributing and initiating actions for responses as appropriate
- Maintain manual and computerized systems including data inputting, processing documents, keeping records and general office administration for the HR service
- Support payroll during pay runs to ensure efficiency and accuracy of payments
- Assisting with improvements to HR processes, systems and working on projects as and when required

**You must have **
- GCSE grade 4-9 in Maths and English (or equivalent)
- Good IT skills with knowledge of a range of computer packages eg Microsoft Word/Excel
- Professional and confident telephone manner
- Ability to work to tight deadlines whilst demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy
