Assistant Lawyer

My client, a National Top Tier UK Law Firm, is looking for an Assistant Lawyer to join their National Litigation Unit based in Stoke-on-Trent.
supervision. Which includes **EL/PL** as well as **RTA** claims. Experience of handling **fast track, EL/PL** PI claims and the experience of the litigation process is essential.
The applicant’s work will be supervised, and feedback given to help your own professional development - my client is committed to developing their own employees.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Working with the lead lawyer to manage a caseload **fast track, EL/PL and RTA**claims.
- Communicating with **union members**, dealing with their queries, and updating them as the matter progresses.
- **Forensic analysis** of volume **quantum evidence, preparing chronologies, and identifying anomalies**.
- Critical analysis of sources of liability evidence and identifying any gaps.
- **Interviewing witnesses and drafting statements**.
- Liaising with all parties involved.
- **Instructing counsel and attending conferences**.
- Preferably have experience working with union members.
- Experience in dealing with **EL/PL litigated cases**.
- A qualified **solicitor/CILEx** is preferred but Law degree or common Professional examination/Graduate Diploma in law or experience of equivalent standing will be considered.
