Photographer & Videographer - Marketer

Feltham, United Kingdom Outsourced Sales Full time

This isn't your standard Videographer/Photographer or Marketing job

Actually what I'm looking for is a right-hand person to help scale the business. At the core, we are a small Private Equity firm buying companies in the Manufacturing industry. The type of companies that get bought have either a non-existent leadership team or have very senior leaders looking to retire. That's where you come in.

The goal will be to train the next set of leaders to help run and grow the companies through their next stage of development. Why is this job post aimed at you, a Videographer/Creative type who enjoys writing, producing videos and photography? The growth of these companies will come from aggressive marketing. Video and photo are key components of this marketing strategy and that's why your skillset will be valuable.

This job is for you if you:

- Enjoy capturing and editing videos for various purposes, including marketing campaigns, social media content, events, and internal communications
- Love collaborating with people to develop video concepts and storyboards
- Like setting up and operating cameras, lighting equipment, and audio equipment to ensure optimal video quality
- Are happy to travel and conduct interviews and film footage at various locations
- Have skills editing videos using software such as Davinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or Adobe Premiere
- Aspire to become a leader or manager and will put in the hard work required (including extra hours) to become one in the shortest time possible
- Want to learn marketing, sales and operational skills that will make you highly desirable to any company

This job is NOT for you if:

- You are not interested in pushing yourself to be the best version you can be
- You are not interested in coming into the workplace 4-5 days a week so that you can collaborate and learn as much as possible from your peers and leaders
- You are not interested in managing people or learning leadership skills
- Out-of-hours work puts you off

This opportunity is effectively a CEO in-training role. It's a shortcut to developing the skills required to run small to medium-sized companies. But it requires hard work, dedication and lots of learning. It would suit the following individuals:

- A good communicator who isn't camera shy and willing to actively post about themselves
- A person who can handle confrontation and take charge where necessary
- Is passionate about making money (and lots of it)
- Someone who believes that getting rewarded based on performance is a good thing and is happy to prove they are worth every penny
- A motivator willing to do what it takes to get the best out of other people

Although not mandatory the following would also be desirable:

- A few years of experience working in digital marketing
- Experience launching and running paid campaigns
- Demonstratable ability to craft engaging content
- London based within easy commute of the office

If you believe you are a good fit for the role then let's hear from you.

Please start by sending a brief 2-minute video talking about yourself and why you think you would be a good fit for the role.

Hopefully, we can chat soon

Andre
