**Overview**
2fawcett are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Coordinator to join our client’s team and drive operational excellence across their supply chain functions.

**Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Coordinator**
- Utilise the MRP system to analyse and determine material requirements based on production schedules, sales forecasts, and inventory levels. Generate purchase requisitions or production orders to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods. Implement strategies to optimise inventory turnover, minimise stockouts, and reduce excess inventory. Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to manage relationships with suppliers. Communicate material requirements, lead times, and quality specifications. Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
- Identify opportunities to optimise supply chain processes, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency. Implement best practices, lean methodologies, and process improvements to enhance overall supply chain performance.
- Generate reports and provide regular updates on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory levels, material availability, on-time delivery, and supplier performance. Analyse data trends, identify root causes of issues, and propose actionable recommendations.

**Requirements of the Supply Chain Coordinator**
- Proven experience as a Supply Chain Coordinator or in a similar supply chain planning role.
- Strong knowledge of MRP systems and inventory management concepts.
- Proficiency in using ERP software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
