Because of the success and growth of our site in Ollerton, a new and exciting opportunity has come up for a talented and experienced individual to take on the role of **Health & Safety Coordinator**. You will play an integral role in helping support the site’s commitment to delivering exceptional service and a zero-accident workplace as well as reviewing and implementing best practices and engaging all colleagues in improving health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
This role is being offered on a permanent, full-time basis. If successful, you will be working Monday to Friday, between 08:00 and 17:00 though some flexibility may be required.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to **£28,000** per annum, and 23 days holiday (plus bank holidays). **What you’ll do on a typical day**:
- Carry out internal site safety inspections, ensuring any findings or recommendations are monitored and actioned
- Work with site management in dealing with accidents/ incidents/ near misses
- Work with the onsite team to improve upon GXO Health and Safety measures
- Collate KPI information for measuring QHSE performance and champion them across the site
- Develop training material and supporting documents, to undertake the delivery of such to functional and operational leads and the wider community
**What you need to succeed at GXO**:
- Relevant Health and Safety qualifications such as NEBOSH, NCRQ or IOSH (essential)
- Previous experience of working in a Health & Safety role
- Friendly and approachable with Key Stakeholder management skills
- Good problem-solving ability, methodical, organised with a hands-on approach and positive ‘can do’ attitude
