A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Cloud Modernisation Senior Delivery Lead to join a major global Insurer and participate in an exciting journey leading the digitalisation of the specialist insurance market.

You will lead a Cloud Modernisation programme from an IT perspective partnering with my client’s strategic vendors and working closely with business teams ensuring projects and activities are co-ordinated with appropriate collaboration and that stakeholders are kept informed in particular working closely with Chief Data Officer (CDO) & Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Own the end to end delivery of Modernisation workstreams specifically Cloud Transformation and related initiatives, product deliverables and projects.
- Create and maintain a healthy delivery culture which is customer and value orientated.
- Engage with the business maintaining constant communication throughout the programme to ensure outcomes are Embedded into the way we do business going forwards.
- Ensure the programme embeds effective data governance, controls and management that delivers enhanced data ownership & trustworthiness across the organisation.
- Ensure initiatives have business cases, outcomes, strategy and clear plans, and that OKRs used to track progress are understood by all stakeholders
- Support the CDO, CTO, Product Owners and key stakeholders in prioritising backlogs, establishing the delivery pipelines and roadmap with frequent show & tell session that ensure stakeholders are sufficiently engaged and connected to the Programme’s successes, challenges, opportunities, risks and issues.

Knowledge and Experience:

- Cloud & Data transformation (Azure, Google, AWS, Snowflake, Confluence Cloud etc) programme/project management
- Excellent technical delivery experience and technical understanding is required
- Experience of using (Scaled) Agile and waterfall to achieve goals and outcomes
- Working with internal and external teams located across multiple time zones
- Well versed in capturing and analysing data to manage and forecast delivery
- End to end experience of product and project life cycles over projects
- A track record of quantifiable, results based achievement
- Broad understanding of change delivery practices and management methodologies
