**Location: GP Surgeries within the Camberley area**

**Hours: Full Time (37.5 hours per week)**

As a prominent mental health charity, Andover Mind has been involved with an NHS England initiative based in Farnborough, Hampshire.

The mental health and well-being of the communities across Hampshire is our top priority and to ensure we achieve this we are looking to recruit a Mental Health Community Coordinator to work in the primary care (MHICS) mental health service.

Working in GP surgeries within the Camberley area, you will assess patients (over the age of 18) who present with emotional or mental health difficulties and provide short-term interventions of up to 4 sessions which may include referrals on to other agencies, bridging to community organisations or teaching self-management tools.

The overall purpose of this role will be to work within a multidisciplinary team delivering a quality mental health service as an alternative to secondary care services. You will be employed by Andover Mind but will work in partnership with PCN staff and Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust staff.
