Third Officer

As Third Officer you will be a valuable member of the ship's bridge crew, working a 3 weeks on, 3 weeks off rotation. In this role, you will not only fulfil Officer of the Watch responsibilities but also play a crucial part in maintaining Navigation Aids such as Lighthouses, Light Vessels, and Buoys. Additionally, you will conduct hydrographic surveys using the latest surveying technology, and have the opportunity to work in offshore lighthouses as part of an away-team, reaching them via our ships' workboat or Service Helicopter.

To be successful in this position, you should possess a minimum STCW II/1 OOW certificate of competency, along with a valid ENG 1 Medical Certificate. Although prior UK Coastal experience as a watch keeper would be advantageous, it is not mandatory. What is important is your ability to quickly adapt to new technology.
