A school in the S36 area has recently requested long term cover over the summer term in one of their Lower Key Stage 2 classrooms. The Primary School was rated as a **GOOD** school in their previous OFSTED inspection. Their recent OFSTED report stated that their school is:

- A calm, peaceful school where pupils are happy.
- An inclusive environment which their staff describe as “one big family”.
- Placing the needs of the pupils high on their priorities, where pupils of all ages are sensitively supported to work and play together with respect and care.
- A provision in which their pupils are kind to one another and play well together.
- A place where pupils behave well and are keen to learn.
- Able to provide their teachers with well-structured plans that help pupils to gain secure knowledge and skills.

As the role is a long-term position, teachers will be required to carry out the responsibilities of staff in a full-time role. These include:

- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum.
- Marking & inputting data.
- Attending staff meetings in line with your school’s CPD.
- Extra responsibilities (e.g., break duty on occasion, parents evening).
- Attending the school Monday - Friday during term time.

The teaching role will commence from April 17th until July 21st 2023.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
