Security Officer

We have a need for Relief Security Officers throughout West Yorkshire.

Must be able to travel to various locations. Own transport will be required.

**1. **Responsible for people, vehicles and buildings located within the customer’s premises.

**2. **Responsible for reporting incidents or potential incidents to the Admiral Control Room and other agencies such as the Police which include - reporting crimes and incidents taking place, persons or vehicles acting suspiciously, reporting premises or vehicles damaged by crime.

**3. **To keep accurate and detailed records of incidents and security related requests which occur whilst on duty.

**4. **Responsible for own and premises security arrangements.

**5. **Responsible for equipment / stationery / clothing owned by Admiral Security Services or the Client.

**6. **To cover shifts as designated by the company required and adhere to current standby procedure.

**7. **To keep all information strictly confidential.

**8. **Responsible to carry out to they’re best ability all written or verbal instruction issued by senior management of Admiral Security Services.

**9. **Perform patrols and inspections as per site specification.

**10. **Undertake other such duties of a similar nature and responsibility as may be determined.
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

- First aid knowledge to provide immediate medical assistance if required
- Proficiency in surveillance techniques and the operation of CCTV systems
- Strong observation skills to detect potential security threats or breaches
- Knowledge of loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £10.54-£11.00 per hour
