We’re seeking a Senior Science Technician to join our client based in Folkstone. Working as a Senior Science Technician, you’ll be expected to play a senior role in leading Junior Technicians effectively.

This role is based onsite 5 days a week in Folkstone.

The Role

Senior Science Technician will be working in a education setting, supporting the running of a successful department on a daily basis. You’ll have a team of technicians supporting you on a daily basis in a busy, yet enjoyable, department. The role is varied,offering progression and the chance to positively impact young peoples lives.

What’s Required?

The ideal Senior Science Technician will have;
- a willingness and/or experience working in an educational setting, ideally as a Science Technician before.
- prior experience working in a laboratory setting
- Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
- the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including teachers, students, and suppliers
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and protocols, as well as health and safety regulations.
