**Internship -GNSS Antenna Analysis**
Description- This internship project will investigate how GNSS signals are affected by the type of antenna and its installation on different vehicles. The project will involve designing and implementing experiments that will collect GNSS data from different configurations of antennas and platforms. It will also involve processing the GNSS data using state of the art processing software to evaluate such effects. The project will likely be an iterative process of collecting measurements and analysing the results to help build a full understanding of the influence of the antenna for GNSS positioning.
- The successful applicant will work closely with colleagues at u-blox to conduct the work. The internship will take place in Reigate, UK and is for a fixed term of 12 weeks, start date is negotiable.
- Steps:

- The following steps are anticipated to fulfil the aims of the project:

- Design experiments that can be used to investigate antenna effects.
- Build a system that can be used to implement the experiment. This may involve assembling equipment such as data loggers, power supplies, etc.
- Undertake data collection in a controlled and careful manner.
- Evaluate the collected data using state of the art GNSS analysis software.
- Present and discuss the findings with u-blox colleagues and iterate as necessary.
- Archive datasets and document findings.
- **Required Skills**:
- Student pursuing a Master or Bachelor degree
- Background in engineering or scientific discipline
- Analytical and practical problem-solving skills
- Some programming experience in a language such as MATLAB or Python
- Self-motivated and able to work independently but within a global team
- Some understanding of GNSS technology is a benefit
